From the Elder's Pen BEWARE OF WOLVES Past/Future Articles

As we listen to teachers of the Gospel we must be sure they are teaching “thus saith the Lord”.  Jesus taught that there were “wolves” even when he was on earth (Matt. 7:15), and the apostle Paul warned there would be “wolves within the church not sparing the flock (Acts 20: 29-31).  We see this in listening to the radio, watching religious programs on television, and reading articles.  Sometimes even those who were at one time a “brother in Christ” are now wolves in sheep’s clothing, teaching a doctrine that will send as many souls to a fiery destruction as the false doctrines of denominational religions.

We must all study so we will recognize the wolves when they speak or write false doctrine, as Christ said, “beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Matt. 7:15).
