From the Elder's Pen WHERE IS GOD? Past/Future Articles

Where is God in your life?  Is He number one - or is He number two, or three, or maybe just left out altogether?  If God is number one in your life, you will:

? Give God the First hour of the day
? Give God the First day of the week
? Give God the First portion of your pay
? Give God the First consideration in every decision
? Give God the First place in your heart

Now comes second place (or a better word would be the leftovers).  Leftovers are such humble things.  We would not serve them to our guest, and yet we serve them to our Lord, who deserves the very best.  We give to Him leftover time, stray  minutes here and there.  We give Him our leftover cash, such few coins that we can spare.  We give our youth to the world, to hatred, lust and strife – then, in declining health and years we give to Him the remnant of our life.

Our Lord deserves the best from our youth to our death.  Some day our Lord will come again for that judgement day.  He will take the faithful few that put him FIRST in everything.  They will be HEAVEN  BOUND.  IS GOD FIRST IN YOUR LIFE?
