Should Sin Be Reproved And Rebuked?

Many modern day Bible teachers and preachers of the Gospel want to teach only of God's love for everyone and they tell everyone "God is love and that he would not punish us because of his love for us."  Therefore, they refuse to teach that as Christians we should teach others that God hates sin.

Preaching against sin is very unpopular and many Bible teachers and preachers do not want to hurt anyone's feelings by pointing out sin; then when there is sin in the church it is "swept under the rug" in hopes no one will notice it.  God said "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold or hot . . .   So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:15-16).

Let us be as the apostle Paul who wrote, " . . . do I seek to please men?  For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:10).  " . . . whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4).
