WILL YOU DO GOD’S WILL? |

Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:21-23).Jesus compares those who do His will to the wise man who did as he knew to do and built his house upon a rock, and those who do not His will he compares those to the foolish man who knew to do God’s will, but did it not and built his house upon the sand (Matt. 7:21-27). When the floods came, the house of the foolish man fell and great was the fall of it and so shall our efforts fail if we do “our” will instead of God’s will.
