We have four groups of church members in our visitation program.  Each group consists of four couples each (depending on how many volunteers we have).  These groups alternate, each meeting one week out of the month.  We are given cards that have the sick or shut-in's name, address, phone number and any other information available that will benefit in their visit.  They have one week to do their visiting and sending get well cards before the next group takes over.  We have found this program to be very beneficial to both the members and our sick/shut-ins who sometimes have very few visitors or cards.
