WRONG, WRONG, WRONG

Past/Future Articles

Jesus said in Matthew 21:13, “Friend, I do thee no wrong.” Wrong is wrong even if we don’t get caught.  We read in Proverbs 15:3, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good.”  Wrong is wrong even if it is considered acceptable by the majority.  The bible says, “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.” (Exodus 23:2).  The Christian should enter not into the path of the wicked.  Avoid wrong doing, pass not by it, turn from it, take the right (Christian) path.  Prove all things, hold fast to that which is good.  “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thess. 5:21-22).

Wrong is wrong even if it doesn’t bother our conscience.  We read in Galations 6:7, “What-so-ever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”  Wrong is wrong even if we do it for a good cause.    Christ will never accept wrong doing.  An honorable purpose does not justify a dishonorable deed or action.  “Sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4).  We read (in part) in Jeremiah 22:3, “Do no wrong, do no violence.”  Remember, there is never a right way to do a wrong thing.  We are commanded in Matthew 5:48 by Jesus; “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.”  God did no wrong.
