From the Elder's Pen CHOICES Past/Future Articles

From the time of his creation, man has been known as the creature of choice.  The God of creation has empowered man with the knowledge and ability to decide for himself the manner of life which he chooses.  Some bibical examples:
          Pharoah chose one more night with the frogs. (Exodus 8:8-10).

          Lot chose the well-watered plain of Jordan, but it placed him near Sodom
           (Gen. 13:8-13).

          Joshua said “Choose you this day whom ye will serve…but as for me and my
          House, we will serve the Lord. (Josh. 24:15).

Someone has said, “Life is like a cafeteria: One goes through, choosing as he goes, but what he chooses must be paid for at the end of the line.”  CHOOSE WISELY, CAREFULLY, PRAYERFULLY.
