From the Elder's Pen ROAD MAP TO HEAVEN Past/Future Articles

The road map to Heaven, starts with the “Plan of Salvation”.  We must Hear (Romans 10:14,17, John 6:44-45);  Believe (John 8:24, Hebrews 11:6);  Repent (Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, Acts 17:30);  Confess (Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10);  Be Baptized (Mark 16:16, Acts 22:16, I Peter 3:21, Romans 6:1-18).  Now we are ready to get on that narrow and straight road that will lead to Heaven.

In order for us to stay on this road, we must first be willing to learn about Heaven. To learn means to gain knowledge or understanding (I Timothy 2:4).  Second, we must yearn for Heaven.  To yearn is to desire, to long persistently for something.  Third, we must turn toward Heaven.  To turn means to change direction or course.  We MUST worship God as He has commanded us.

Have you made your preparation for that Great Eternal Home in Heaven?  The way to Heaven is straight and narrow.  We must be totally focused to find it and walk therein (Matthew 7:13, 14; I John 1:7).  Are you turning in Heaven’s direction?  DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN??
