The Holy Spirit, through he apostle Paul, said “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Tim. 2:15).  Every responsible individual is commanded to study the word of God in order to know exactly what to do in order to be saved.  Every one will stand before the judgement seat of God and give an account of his or her life whether it be good or bad (II Cor 5:10).  At death, our destiny is locked in, there is no change that can be made.  We, and we alone, are responsible for studying, learning, and obeying the word of God.  We cannot, and must not, trust the destiny of our soul to the doctrines of men.  If you should call ten denominational preachers and ask them this question, “What must I do to be saved?”, you would get ten different answers, all the way from “Just believe, by faith only, or by grace only” to “there is nothing you can do for it has been predestined before you were born whether you will be saved or not.  These answers are no where found in God’s Holy Word, but they are the teachings of man and not from God.  To get the RIGHT ANSWER, LET God give you HIS answer.  Your soul’s salvation is too important to trust to man’s doctrine.  Do not accept the word of anyone unless it is a “THUS SAITH THE LORD” with book, chapter, and verse.
