Yes, the Christian should have an attitude; but Christians should be very careful of what attitude they have.  Eve had an attitude problem.  She decided that being wise and working out her own destiny was more important than obeying God who created her.  Cain, also had a similar problem, thinking that worshipping God according to his own will was better than doing as God had said.  People's attitude became so bad that every thought of men's heart was evil continually (Genesis 6:5).

Noah, however, had a good attitude and followed God's instructions completely in building the ark which saved Noah and his family.  Had Noah built the ark the way HE wanted and not followed God's instructions, he and his family would have been lost along with all the other people.

We, like Noah, should also do the will of God with a good attitude because our attitude comes from our heart; and Christians are to worship God with a pure heart.
